I fully believe that human beings have a long, majickal history, that we have forgotten in the name of hunting for evolution.

There are many millions of stories, where humans did great things, side by side with majickal creatures. I don’t believe that these worlds we’ve built with words, come from our imagination alone. I believe just like generational curses, generational blessings can be passed on through DNA.

Unlocking our abilities, comes with understanding that the science we know to be true, and the science that could be true, are not that far apart.

Pretend for a moment with me: Believe for just a second, that there’s a whole hidden majickal destiny awaiting you, but you don’t know about it, because you’ve been conditioned to believe majick isn’t real.

When we say “Healers need protectors,” what we’re saying is that each of us has a predisposition to being “something” in this world. Sometimes that means that we’re conditioned into becoming something other than what we’re meant to be, to survive. Lucky souls have people who encourage diversity, inclusion, equity, and differences into our lives.

Unlucky souls are surrounded by people telling you that anything you know to be true, isn’t. Mostly because they don’t know how to communicate with you on your level, in a way that isn’t toxic and abusive.

So how do you figure out who you are, and where you fit, in the scale of what could and might be? Discover yourself. You spend time getting to know yourself all the time. In those moments when you’re alone and no one is around, you know exactly who you are.

In those moments when no one is around and things are “okay”, you can figure out who you’re meant to be quite easily.

Healers are obvious to stop, they end up in hospitals, morgues, and even sometimes schools, always there to mend a broken bone, bruise, or heart, and ever present when folks need them, but rarely do true healers have people checking in on them. Which is why so many healers end up on the streets with drug addiction and poverty issues.

Oh yeah, that part. People forget that we are not creatures who run on infinite batteries. Each of us is only capable of so much, and when that happens, when we are taken for more than we have, we end up stuck in situations we wouldn’t be in otherwise.

Some people are both raised with, and born with, a great sense of justice. I believe that especially in 2025, more parents are raising their kids, against their will, to have a fuller understanding of what the world is offering “Tomorrow’s generation.”

Protectors are people who have seen great injustice, and fight to change the system in a variety of ways. There was a time when one would have said that police officers fall into the “Protector” catagory, but unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case.

Challengers make a difference in huge ways, whether they know it or not. Challengers are designed at the very genetic core to shake up the system. They can’t help but rebel against the rules that most people think make our world great. Good, Bad, and or Ugly, Challengers change the world simply by existing. Many of them build community, grow into leaders, and alter the course of humanity in a variety of ways.

Challengers are necessary because when the system gets stagnent it begins to fail, people fall through the cracks, and often end up dead, in prison, or other institutions. Challengers are needed because they are natural problem solvers, they give us light where before there was only darkness.

I don’t like organized religion. I think any religion with a “Supreme type of Leader,” regardless of where they come from or what their background is, can be dangerous.

When ever one person is in charge of too many people, there is bound to be corruption and abuse.

But that being said, true spiritualists, those who believe in moving through the world while causing as little damage as others, do not cause harm. They envelope folks in inspiration, and give us the reminder that no matter how big or powerful we feel, there is always something bigger than us around the corner.

Only one of my really good, close personal friends, is a sista Content Creator. None of my other friends like being on social media, much less producing content about their lives for the vast and strange madness that is the internet audience.

So when I say “Supporters,” I don’t mean folks who aren’t staring in the films of their own lives. I mean the people who don’t want attention, but absolutely lift up those of us who do, so that we can do what we need to do. Sometimes this might include a parent, a sibling, or perhaps even a baby-sitter. Anyone who helps you shine, is a supporter, and trust, they need your support too.

Many people think that Healers and Nurtuers are the same thing, but they aren’t. You can be a healer, that doesn’t make you someone that nurtures. Nurturing is more of an internal medicine, it’s about being gentle, kind, and focused on making sure the person you’re taking care of is comfortable.

Healing is about making sure the wounds are taken care of, so they can heal properly. Healers use bandages, nurturers use emotion. While they work hand in hand, it’s important to note that they are not the same thing. Not every healer is capable of being nurturing, and not every nuturer is good at healing.

You’ll see a lot of Warrior types in television, film, and media. Especially in Sports Entertainment. Warriors are people who are constantly fighting the world. They are folks who are strong, powerful, and force dedication into their bones the way that most humans suck up air after a long hard run.

Warrior types are absolutely not to be messed with. They’ve been through some shit, and they can be protectors, but just because one has the fight in them, doesn’t mean they know how to focus their energies on helping others. Helping others is a skill like any other, that must be taught. Not every Warrior has the opportunity to learn how to help others, until they’ve achieved their goals.

See’ers are people who can see all kinds of different possibilities. Sometimes they are artists, teachers, challengers, and even warriors. But their gift is being able to see, not what is coming for sure, but how the world could be altered, by the actions taken by those around them and themselves as well.

See’ers much like healers take in a lot more than they release, and often end up in situations filled with poverty and addiction not because they choose the path of a see’er, but because the world is too overwhelming to handle. For a person who is a natural see’er, balance is hard won, but absolutely necessary to not only survive, but to grow and evolve as well.

Community is the backbone of the teaching world. Teachers work together not only to make the world a better place, but to share knowledge so that those who have different talents can come together and share those talents.

When I started this website, I had no plans to be a teacher. It was actually a male, white, reader, who came to me and said “I understand my wife better because of your stories.” Apparently our trauma is quite similar, maybe that’s what teachers do. They teach you to connect to those you love, in ways you never thought possible, by sharing their own experiences the way that farmers seed the land.

On the surface of it, these personality types may not seem majickal, but that’s because again, we’ve been conditioned to believe that true majick, only exists on the stage, in film, television, the radio, and books.

Media is a type of majick. A creation of the human mind that few people thought possible, and yet even back in the days of Ancient Egypt, they had news papers and ways of passing on information that today we would consider inconceivable.

Understanding where you fall in the world, understanding who you are, and who you could be, based on someone else’s idea of a personality test, is conditioning. Break free.

Find your own creative type of person to be, and set yourself free from the idea that you have to be anything based on other people’s thoughts, ideas, and opinions. You are your own person.

These are just some examples of the kinds of people who have stories written about them, or who write the stories. There are thousands of more labels, titles, and fantastical creative ways out there to describe yourself.l

Bif Naked described herself once as an alien creature, sent here to circumvent convention. Iniko calls herself a Goddess, here to remind the people in this world of their power. I describe myself as a faerie, here to remind the world that at the end of a very dark tunnel, is more light than one can possibly imagine.

Whoever you decide to be, be great. Not because the world rewards greatness, but because greatness is who you are.

Sending all my love,

Devon J Hall, The Original Loud Mouth Brown Girl
