It’s always so wonderful when someone reaches out and says “Devon, I want to help you make your dreams come true.” You readers, much like myself, know that doesn’t happen often.
Recently my reader turned friend Debra did that. She decided that she was inspired enough by me to help me out. So Debra paid so that I could take the course from Healer.Com and get my foot into the cannabis career door. On top of that she sent me a used laptop because mine is basically on it’s last legs. (I’m literally using a keyboard on top of a laptop as I write this.)
I love the laptop, it’s a 2017 iMac Air, and it’s really beautiful, but after an entire afternoon of trying to figure out how to use the 13 inch computer, I realized that I was far in over my tech abilities. So I thought about selling it, and while I could get at minimum around $130-$500 for it, I sat here tonight, thinking about all the girls around the world who want to get loud, but don’t have the freedom to express themselves.
There are a lot of girls around the world who would kill for a free computer, but my focus is on the girls here in Canada and America, who want to speak out about topics that they are prevented from speaking on by family, friends, “allies,” and even culture. Are you one of those girls? Are you tired of being told to silence your voice, or to hush up? I used to be, and those are the girls that I want to see excel and move forward.
So I’m giving it away. The retail value of the computer is around $300, but you won’t just be getting the iMac.
I’ll also be throwing in an LMBG Hoodie, t-shirt, and mug from the collection of your choice, which is valued at around $150.00
This contest is open to girls and women ages 18 and above from across Canada and America, who are interested in being a part of the Cannabis industry, and who are or are wanting to, use that interest to fuel their creative dreams forward.

Your items will be mailed to you ASAP.
You must be a Canadian OR AMERICAN between the ages of 18 and 30 to enter.
Unfortunately due to restrictions in Quebec and Ontario I cannot offer this contest to anyone in those provinces.
Please remember that this is supposed to be fun, but I want you to think seriously, “what does it mean to be a Loud Mouth…..” Whatever your label is. I’m Brown, but I’m also Bisexual, I’m also Black, and white, I am many things. What are YOU that makes your life matter, to YOU?
If you were writing to your favorite superhero, what would you want them to know about you? Dig deep, be honest, show your true self, and remember that this is your chance to tell your story.
There are a lot of creators out there who think to themselves “I have nothing worth saying,” Baby sister, you are EXACTLY who we are looking for. Behind closed doors you are wild, free, and you life your life exactly the way you want to…are you ready to share that side of yourself with the world?
To prove I’m serious, here’s a few pictures of the laptop in question:
I know that I could just sell the laptop or use it myself, but for right now I’m okay. If this can bring a sister or brother a little joy and help them full fill their creator dreams, then I truly believe that’s what this particular computer is meant to do.
Happy writing everyone,
Sending all my love,
Devon J Hall
I am currently running a fundraiser to raise some much-needed funds for the site. Because of the pandemic, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be as active at events this year and thus I lost out on a lot of potential sales. Any help you’d be able to provide would be amazing. Please click this link to head on over to Go Fund Me to Donate to help keep the site going.
Alternatively, our 2021 Ugly Christmas Sweater Collection is finally out so head on over to the shop and check it out.
The Loud Mouth Brown Girl Shop #604North is OPEN again and while we only have the Stay Lifted Sis collection currently, many more are on the way in the coming months.
Uncomfortable is an Uncomfortable read of un-edited essays written by the Loud Mouth Brown Girl, during the start of the 2020-2021 pandemic era on planet earth. It’s a difficult read filled with reminders that no matter how much the universe tries to squish us, we keep pushing through and moving forward to become our best selves.
