Black women have been talking, and collectively, we’re tired of y’all and you know who you are. Or maybe you don’t and that’s the fucking problem.
I wrote this over a year ago, because I truly felt that Black women when speaking, were being deliberately ignored. Not unheard, ignored, on purpose.
“Let me preface this piece by saying I have a large group of white friends from all over the world, who now precisely how to shut the fuck up.”
“However,” I continued, “That being said, it was a process that we had to learn TOGETHER.”
So for the love of all things Holy, learn to do the work.
I should have emphasized that last point, because some of y’all hear “Black women aren’t being heard,” and then turn around and go “LET THE BLACK WOMEN SPEAK,” repeatedly, without actually letting the Black women speak. But this one? This one done pissed me the fuck off.
This week on “Social Media Digest,” a white woman pretended to get threats, and harassment from another white woman via email. Only to be found out by yet another white woman who said the first two white women were the same person and one of those two white women was a snaking lying thief.
So turns out a white woman manufactured her own threats and fear, so that she could sell, are you ready for this? Stickers.
Meanwhile two or three weeks ago, a very real Black woman, got death threats, for posting a stock photo to showcase that she’d been given a gift of a large package of vanilla. Instead of posting a very real photo of her home, her gift, and herself, she used a stock photo.
Well, a white woman didn’t like that, and decided to harass, abuse the powers of the internet, and instigate so much hate that the aforementioned Black woman did actually receive death threats.
Are you seeing the difference here? Black women are receiving death threats, for many Black women that I follow, the FBI is very much involved because the threats are so sinister and terrifying for the people involved.
And while that is happening white women are PRETENDING to receive death threats, PRETENDING to be harassed, so they can sell stickers, and then posting “I fucked up” half-apologies that take zero accountability for their actions or the very real harm and fraud they contributed to, and wonder genuinely, why so many of us Black women roll our eyes and call foul.
Neurodivergent people like to talk about how they hyperfocus, and how they can see through bullshit because they can’t help but dig and pull on strings that lead to spiderwebs filled with lies.
But what do you think Black, Brown, Disabled, Queer, Indigenous people do? We’ve been through literal torture, people like us were locked in gas chambers, we were experimented on, we were enslaved, beaten and yes again, tortured. So yeah we’re constantly looking to make sure we can trust you because our nervous system is generationally cursed with natural fear.

This four year old girl figured out what it took me decades to understand: They hate me because I’m Black she cries, and she cries because she knows it’s the one thing about herself that she can’t change.
“Oh, but baby, why would you want to?”
Because for some of us, being Black is a struggle that we’re not prepared for. Let me make this clear. Black people deal with mental health issues, but OUR mental health issues come with the added spice of Racism.
In a Doctor’s office we can’t just proclaim “So I was practicing Hoodoo/Voodoo/Witchcraft the other day…” without our doctors telling us that sounds psychotic. But go in and tell them you’re a practicing Christian and that makes perfect sense.
Human beings are conditioned to only be comfortable with what they understand, and what they understand is that being anything other than what they are comfortable with is dangerous and should be controlled.
Cops? Can’t trust them because they are predisposed to hating anything neurodivergent because training, oh and Black or Indigenous? Forget about it, we’re not protected by cops, we’re hunted by them.
Don’t believe me? Ever heard of the Highway of Tears? For more than thirty years women went missing from there, died there, were raped, beaten and killed there. In Canada, but yeah women and girls are totally safe here. MMkay.
Black, Brown, and Indigenous women want you to shut the fuck up. We DON’T need you to make space for us. We don’t WANT you to make space for us, we want you to shut, the, fuck, up. Period.

No, seriously, sit in the discomfort you feel from having a Brown-Black woman tell you that you need to stop talking. It’s not about you. NO IT’S NOT.
NOT EVEN IF YOU’RE A NON-PRACTICING WHITE.
Which by the way is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life, if you have privilege you use privilege, you don’t not use your privilege just because it makes people uncomfortable, because then you might ACTUALLY be a person who cares about the world.
I used to think it was so cool that so many white women followed me – some even bought the “Loud Mouth White Girl” shirt, which was cool for a minute, and then I realized they were buying into the brand but they weren’t really understanding that my goal wasn’t to reach them.
My goal has always been to make space for say it with me now BLACK BROWN AND INDIGENOUS women and girls. I want Loud Mouth Brown Girl to be a mental health brand, sure, but I also want it to eventually be a portal to resources for women like myself, who need access and support that they can’t find anywhere else.
Look, I know my designs aren’t the best, but I put my everything into them. I either pay a digital designer to draw for me, or I create my own shit, period. I take high offense to anyone who steals designs, who lies on their own name to make a dollar meanwhile many of us are dealing with the fucking FBI to protect ourselves.

“Nothing on the internet is real…” Until the fucking FBI gets involved. Like how fucking evil do you have to be, to enrage so many people on purpose, that BLACK WOMEN online have no choice but to turn to the same people who destroy their communities, for help?!
Stahp. Don’t fucking tell me it’s not al white women, if you believed that you wouldn’t have to say it because at this point the only person you’re trying to convince is yourself. I’m fully aware it’s not all white women – don’t thank me for saying this, because it’s not a fucking compliment.
It’s true, it’s not all white women. But it’s enough of you crying rape, fear, anxiety, depression, and misery, all while laughing your asses off to the bank, that it doesn’t even matter if it’s not all of you. The fact that you’re more comfortable saying “well gee thank Goddess it’s not me she means,” then “Holy fuck I never thought about it that way,” proves you are the fucking problem.
STOP.
